Prof. Anne Alexandrov
Dr Anne Alexandrov is a Professor of both Nursing and Neurology, as well as the Mobile Stroke Unit Chief Nurse Practitioner at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. She is also Professor and Program Director for NET SMART, the world’s first and only post-graduate fellowship training program for advanced practice nurses (APN) in acute stroke. Dr Alexandrov has mentored over 100 APNs from across the globe.
Dr Anne Alexandrov has received many honours, including the 2018 Memphis Healthcare Hero Award, the 2013 American Association of Critical-Care Nurses’ Flame of Excellence Award, induction as an Honorary Ambassador to the World Federation of Critical Care Nurses in 2012, to mention a few.
David Waters is an Associate Professor and Head of Department within the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Birmingham City University, where he leads the Department of Post Qualifying Healthcare Practice. He is an experienced Critical Care Nurse, with a background in Cardiovascular ICU and Aeromedical Transfer. David is a Board member for the British Association of Critical Care Nurses (BACCN).
